Our Biology teacher, Miss Rini was trying to smell the garbage enzyme. Remember! The garbage enzyme container must be opened once in a couple of days. Its purpose is to avoid the container from expanding and also to release the oxygen. Yeah, there are only two more types of garbage enzyme left for us to do.

The smell
Finally
Finally, two types of garbage enzyme were ready, fruits peels and leaves. (Well, they are actually not really ready to be used until the next 3 months). It was very easy . We must wait for 3 months to get the enzyme from those containers. Everybody was very tired, but these three girls were still excited to show off their smiles. Say cheese! Kih3

The small pieces of fruit peels were put into the container like the one we did with the leaves. Look at everyone with their special pose when I took this picture.
Putting the leaves
As always, everybody wanted to be in the picture. We put the small pieces of leaves into the container which contains the mixture of brown sugar and water in it.
Cutting the fruits peels
The process cutting the fruit peels into small pieces.Everyone worked very hard!!! Ganbante!! They looked very high in spirit.
Putting the brown sugar into the container
The 0.5kg brown sugar was put into the container that contain water. Be careful when doing this job.
Weigh the brown sugar
The process of weighing the brown sugar. The weight must be 0.5 kg only. Okay. Weigh it carefully!
So small
Tadaa. The weight scale that we use to weigh leaves, brown sugar, fruit peels, flowers and citrus fruits. It looks small but it has a very important function. Thank you Madam for lending your weight scale to us.
Small pieces of leaves
The leaves that had been cut into small pieces. The weight of the leaves is 1.5 kg. The plastic bag was full of the small pieces of the leaves.
The project started
The project has officially began. Helmi, Mat Yi, Faiz and Arif started to cut leaves into smaller pieces. The leaves were cut into small pieces to enable them to be put into the container easily.
Look at the fruits
So many fruits!! Hiii, girls. The girls in my class (and the teacher as well) were proud to show the fruits to everyone. The best part of this SEM project!
Eating the king of fruits

Our secretary, Amirul Hisyam or his nick name Sang. Very attractive , funny, and smart person. Responsible to write our journal for this project.

The assistant for our project, Faiz Fathi, Petai . A very active and responsible person, who also makes our class became noisy. Huhuhuhuhuh

Fruit peels
We kept the fruit peels to make the garbage enzyme. It was very easy to do it. Next time we will show you the process in producing the garbage enzyme.

Fruit Fiesta
On Saturday night( July 04, 2009) we held a fruit fiesta. All students of class 4E1 brought many kinds of fruits. There were rambutans, longans ,mangosteens, oranges and even durians! It was fun! We ate so much fruits and they were all very delicious....

At last, the durian was opened by me, Faiz. Huhuhuhu. The durian looked so tasty, and believe me, it tasted as heavenly as the way it looked.

Some points of discussion
Our EST teacher started a discussion with us, beginning in May . In this discussion, we were acknowledged more about the garbage enzyme. It can bring a lot of benefits to us. It was also very easy to do. People out there, come and join us, let's try to make our world smile. Huhuuhuhu. It can give us more oxygen and we can also use it in many ways. It can be used as bleach, shampoo, detergent, and soap. It also has a nice smell definitely it also can refresh the surrounding smell especially at the toilet,kitchen and bathroom. We'll keep you updated with more informations on the usage of garbage enzyme!

Make the world smile
Our EST teacher came into our class and discussed a SEM (Schoolwide Enrichment Model) project with us. We agreed to do a project on garbage enzyme and that later led us to more creative ideas . We decided to focus on different types of organic substances such as citrus fruits, flowers, leaves and fruit peels.
